Speaking up about wrongdoing
How to report fraud, safety cover ups or unlawful conduct safely.
Speaking up Applies to: everyone who works at or with [company]. If you see or suspect fraud, theft, bribery, a safety risk being hidden, or something unlawful 1. Tell [name or role]. If that person is involved, tell [alternative] or use [hotline or email]. 2. Say what you saw, when and where. You do not need proof. You only need a good reason to be worried. 3. We will look into it and tell you what we can about the outcome. 4. We do not allow anyone to punish you for reporting in good faith. If that happens, tell [name or role] at once. You may also have rights under the law to report to outside bodies. Ask [name or role] or get your own advice. By ticking you confirm that you have read and understood this notice.
A starting point, not legal advice or a safety standard. Fill in the [square brackets] and check it against your own risk assessment and the law that applies to you.
